The San Joaquin County Historical Society has many opportunities for sponsorships, including annual fundraisers and special events such as San Joaquin Tractor Fest and Festival of Trees. Exhibits, educational programs, The San Joaquin Historian, and News & Notes (our monthly newsletter) are areas where sponsorships would also be beneficial to continue providing a quality museum experience for our visitors and guests.
The Museum is a volunteer-driven institution, with dedicated community members supporting programming in a variety of ways. Docents support the Museum’s educational programs, tours, and the Festival of Trees. The Tractor Restoration Committee meets weekly to restore historic agricultural equipment. The Friends of the Museum program serves as an auxiliary that provides support with variety of tasks, including photography, event planning, and administrative work. If you would like to join any of these programs, please contact the Director of Education.
